Which languages are the courses available in?
All course content, including written materials, quizzes, and PDF downloads, is produced in English.
Most courses include video subtitles in the following languages:
- French
- German
- Spanish
- Polish
Newer courses additionally include subtitles in:
- Portuguese
Sales pages for each course clearly indicate whether video subtitles are available and which languages are supported.
Exception - Part 107 (FAA Drone Licensing): This course has English closed-captions only. Subtitles in other languages are not available because the FAA requires all applicants to be able to read, write, and speak English.
What about courses that don't currently have subtitles?
Older courses that don't yet have subtitles are being updated over time. As they're updated, subtitles in the core languages listed above will be added.
Can I use a translation tool for the course text?
Yes. Browser extensions like DeepL or Google Translate can automatically translate most in-browser course text, including lesson pages and quizzes. Please note that these tools cannot translate PDF downloads, which are available only in English.
Will you be adding more subtitle languages or translating all content?
Not at this time. My student base is concentrated in the countries represented by the languages above, and producing quality translations across all content is a significant resource commitment. I've prioritized the languages that serve the largest portion of my students, and I continue to expand subtitle availability as courses are updated.
