With the new Part 107 rules effective in March 2021, an in-person test is no longer required to renew your Remote Pilot certificate. It's not just that it's not required, it's not even offered.

Instead, all you need to do is go through a slideshow on the FAA Safety website and take a quiz afterward. This is to ensure that you're up to date with any recent changes to the regulations. They've deemed the "test" unnecessary.

What about the Part 107 Recurrent Training course?

This course was offered before these changes were published. The course is no longer updated or accessible after the rule change.

All students who purchased the Remote Pilot Test Prep Course lifetime access have access to that course to review current regulations whenever they wish; the course is updated as new changes come out.
